What are we looking for in our Untours Local Experts?

A friendly knowledgeable person that a traveler can speak to directly who:

• Personally knows the place in question
• Has a proven track record for giving people excellent, unbiased advice
• Doesn't mind having an extensive talk with one of our staff
• Can provide us with someone who has known them over a period of time to contact who can speak to their knowledge and helpfulness
• Can work as an Untours Local Expert to provide advice to one or two Untourists on a trial basis to see if the role is one that suits them

Each of our current experts have been hand-selected by Untours through in-depth conversation. Often, they have decades of experience helping visitors, as onsite staff for an Untour or independently. Since Untours are specialists in independent travel since 1975, many of the Untours Local Experts have years of experience giving exactly this kind of advice to Untourists and have been getting rave reviews for years.

• YOU might be an Untours Local Expert for your home town, or a place you have visited many times over.
• You might remember someone you met when you were travelling who was particularly helpful and knowledgeable and said to yourself, "Wow, if more people knew about this person, they would have a way better trip!"
